Why Thrive Together

For me, counselling begins with connection.

Having somewhere to be heard, without needing to make your feelings easier for someone else, matters.

You might arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about. Or you might simply know that something feels difficult. Either way, there is space to start with what feels important to you.

My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed. That means listening to your experience, respecting your boundaries and paying attention to what helps you feel comfortable enough to explore.

We do not need to rush towards answers. We can take time to understand what you are carrying, what you need and what moving forward might look like for you.

What Matters To Me

A relationship built on respect.

These values shape how I work and the kind of space I want us to create together.

Being yourself

You do not need to put on a brave face or find the right words. There is room for uncertainty, emotion and quiet moments.

Being heard

Your perspective matters. I listen with curiosity and care, without assuming I know what your experience means to you.

Having a choice

You always decide what you want to share with me. Your boundaries, preferences and pace are part of our work together.

Feeling welcome

Your identity, background and relationships are respected at all times. Every part of your story has a place here.

My starting point

You are a person to understand,
not a problem to solve.

I offer support around trauma, identity, care experience and belonging, with space for how these experiences connect.

Working with me

A human conversation.
At your own pace.

Counselling is a relationship we build together. You can tell me what feels helpful, ask questions and let me know when something does not feel right.

We begin where you are

You do not need to prepare your whole story. We can start with what has brought you here today.

We make room for your experience

We can explore feelings, relationships and patterns while keeping your own understanding at the centre.

We check in together

Your voice matters throughout. We can talk about the pace, your boundaries and how the sessions feel for you
